Lachy and Blake Edwards have both been named for the Australian men's team in the up coming FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup 2018 Berlin (GER) September 11 - 16
The Club would like to announce that, at our Senior Club Presentation, long time member Jim Milne was inducted as a Life Member of the Melbourne Collegians Water Polo Club.
Jim’s background in and involvement with the Club extends for over 40 years.
Jim started playing with the Club at the time of the Amalgamation in 1976 and made his debut in A Grade during the 1978/79 season.
Was part of a very successful MCWPC A Grade team which won several premierships during the 1980’s
Has served on Committee over a number of years and as Club Treasurer on two occasions.
Jim played a significant role in the establishment of Women’s Water Polo at MC and acted as Team Manager for the first Women’s teams over six years during the late 1980’s early 90’s
He continues as a committed Clubman and directs traffic for our current Men’s SL7 group.
The Club would like to thank Jim for his commitment to the Club over many years and congratulates him on being inducted as a Life Member.
